Alternanthera reineckii - Dwarf Redleaf

Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini', commonly known in the hobby as AR Mini, dwarf redleaf, or scarlet temple, is a highly popular cultivated dwarf stem plant native to South America.

When grown out of the water or in outdoor water gardens, it adopts a more upright, relaxed hedge form up to 4–12 inches tall. The leaf surfaces shift to a more conservative olive or dark green color, though the undersides retain a purplish tone. It produces tiny white flowers in the summer.
