Iris pseudata - ‘Roryu’

Iris pseudata 'Roryu' (translated as "An Old Dragon") is a striking aquatic perennial hybrid bred by Hiroshi Shimizu and registered in 2011. As a Pseudata hybrid—a cross between Iris ensata (Japanese Iris) and Iris pseudacorus (Yellow Flag Iris)—it combines the elegant form of Japanese irises with the robust, water-loving nature of yellow flags while remaining completely sterile and non-invasive.
