Iris virginica - 'Contraband Girl'

Commonly known as a Giant Southern Blue Flag Iris, is a massive and vigorous selection of the native North American blue flag water iris. Discovered as a naturally robust variation (hypothesized to be a tetraploid with extra chromosomes), this cultivar grows nearly twice the size of the standard wild species.
