Myriophyllum aquaticum, commonly known as parrot feather or parrot's feather watermilfoil, is a popular yet highly aggressive submerged-to-emergent aquatic perennial native to the Amazon River basin in South America. It gets its common name from its distinctive, bright blue-green foliage that resembles miniature fir trees or feathery plumage.
