Nymphoides cristata - Variegated water snowflake

Commonly known as the Variegated Water Snowflake or crested floating heart, is a rhizomatous, floating-leaf aquatic perennial native to Asia. It resembles a miniature water lily, producing distinct variegated foliage and exceptionally delicate flowers.

It features small, heart-shaped, lily pad-like leaves roughly 3 to 4 inches across. The "Variegated" cultivar is highly prized for its striking green and burgundy/mottled brown variegation pattern.
