How AlgaeSTOP works
AlgaeSTOP targets and disrupts nuisance algae in ornamental ponds, fountains and water gardens, helping restore clarity and maintain a balanced aquatic environment. Its fast-acting polymeric active ingredient interferes with the growth processes of green water, string and hair algae, acting directly on existing blooms to prevent photosynthesis and reproduction. As treated algae die off, they are easily removed through filtration or manual cleaning, and a weekly maintenance dose helps prevent new growth from taking hold.

Because AlgaeSTOP works throughout the water column rather than only on contact, it suits suspended planktonic blooms as well as filamentous growth on rock and liner. The liquid concentrate mixes readily into pond water and disperses evenly around the feature.
